Isn't it funny how, come every exam period I have, my upload rate increases at least 10 fold.Not that this required much effort xD
I find my old drawings really lulz-worthy, either that or I find them so bad I can't look at them anymore. But I forced myself to look at these, because.. I dunno... they're special :3

i just love it when your writing something, and you have a plan to make a character a certain way, but as your writing the character takes over. its like you have no control whatsoever, and suddenly the character grows in their own right and becomes someone. its odd, but fun, letting them take control.
does that make sense?

It makes PERFECT sense.
It's almost beneficial to get to know them slowly.. because as you write the reader can't know what you don't know yourself xD Then suddenly you realise something profound about that character and you know it's time to add that into the story.. it makes for very believable development xD

I've always found that character development is one of my most favorite parts of writing (that and descriptions. and descriptions of storms especially!)theres just something about making a PERSON, an in turn making their history and background, likes and dislikes that appeals to me. and having them all running around in your head? it gets crowded, but boy is it fun at times^^ random things in the street sometimes just set you off and you go 'OH oH OH! thats totally what this character would do!' or 'wow, that makes me think of-fill-in-name-here'. its always fun^^

That's exactly what it's like
I'm so bad with seeing my characters everywhere, or stuff that relates to them. I stared at guy for an indecent amount of time in a shoe store the other day because he was Farrere, I swear. My sister had to pull me away xD

^^ wow a real life Farrere!? i'm pretty sure i would have done the same if it was one of my characters. Glomping may or may not have occurred as well

OMG!! Your drawing really has changed. The eyes are diff, not as big, although i could just suck on your old drawing of iggy ... soo cuute!! I always thought you were inspired by chocolate for farrere's name ... mmmm Ferraro rochers ... i dunno how to spell it

lol I woke up normal time.. and I just remember being like 'wtf was that?! I need to draw it - have to remember!' ... tho now I mostly just write things down instead of drawing it

It was interesting.. because for awhile there I stopped drawing.. and it was these characters who got me started again, and I don't suppose I'd have practiced as much or developed as much if it weren't for them :3
