...They're a fickle bunch, the Rice vampires. Except for Louis, who's just emo. Always.Uuh, yeah, crappy title is crappy... it kind of ruins any substance this pic has - BUT HEY, you'd better watch out for that Twilight fever, it's catching and it's DEADLY.
I maintain that I cannot wait for the movie, though.. because it's going to be so delightfully shit

Actually sadly, the movie is better than the book. And I dispise the whole fandom. Have to admit, Rob Pattinson (plays Edward) does a very good job of portraying the 100 year old virgin teenage goatsucking stalker.
That aside, this is epic win. Poor Lestat XD

After hearing that the 'in' thing is sparkly vampires, I have absolutely no trouble at all imagining Lestat smothering himself in glitter and getting all hysterical. Sorry though Louis, it's not really any nuttier than anything else he's done. Oh Lestat, we love you, even though you're crazy

Armand has no need to actually make himself similar to Edward. I'm quite sure S.Meyer looked at him for Edward, come on: 17 at the moment of death, auburn hair... (I hate them both, ehm...)

Ugh, I know. But I don't hate Armand. The thing about the VC vampires is that they're not always likable - far from it - but they're not SUPPOSED to be. They're supposed to be dark, complex characters. They can be stupid, evil, and quite often borderline insane (especially in Lestat's case XD) but we love them anyway. Whereas Edward is held up as this beacon of morality and perfection, which he is not. He has flaws too, and he would be more lovable if they were acknowledged, both by Bella and by SMeyer and the Twilight-obsessive fangirls.

So true! There are characters I love because they seem like really good, interesting people and I would love to know them in real life (like Luna Lovegood of HP, Anne from Anne of Green Gables, etc.), and there are characters I love because they're dark and twisted but in an incredibly awesome, entertaining way (like the VC vampires), but either way they've gotta have some flaws. "Perfect" characters are just nauseating.
BTW, I read some interviews with SMeyer and she admits that Edward has flaws and made a lot of mistakes. So it's just the stupid fangirls who think he's perfect. And of course his #1 Fangirl, Bella. Ugh.

Which is sort of pointless being that his hair will grow back in less than 24 hours, LOL. He does have the right hair color, though.
Actually, I read somewhere that the Twilight director (Catherine something-or-other? Hardwicke, I think?) wanted Edward to have long, curly hair but R. Pattinson rebelled. It would just have made it even MORE obvious that he's an Armand-clone.
