Minna de uta o GeGeGe no Ge.... everyone should love GeGeGe no Kitarou. And that's a direct order. None of you youngsters care for the old crap with your Namudo and your Death Letters and your Castle Hearts 2. Seriously, look it up. Especially if you're a yokai fan.

I tried to keep this in style with the comic. It's interesting how Mizuki Shigeru wouldn't really shade his main characters, but would go all out on the yokai with intense ink shading. The yokai in this picture is Otoroshi with Kitaro and his "hair erection." Done on another artist trading card dealy deal. I can't get enough of these...

AND AS A QUICK NOTE... the scanner completely killed the quality of the picture (doesn't that happen all the time?) And I hardly ever say that, but the Otoroshi's lines are much much MUCH darker than what has been uploaded... futz.
