“You don’t know how grateful I am to have you as my little brother Sparks.”

Pika and Sparky have been through a lot during most of their childhood. Something that keeps them very close. But before they were separated, before their home village was attacked, they had a completely different relationship. In fact, their personalities were much different than today. During their Pichu stage, Pika and Sparky did not get along. There were times where they would argue and bicker every time one of them says a word of the other. Or when they can’t stand being in the same room together. Many assumed they acted how siblings tend to act towards each other.

However, this was more than just teasing or mocking. In a young age as a Pichu, Pika was actually a brat. She loved getting attention from other Pokémon. Many mons from the village knew her as the daughter of the famous and popular Electrics, her parents. After her brother was born, things became worse for her. In her eyes, it looked as if her brother was getting all the attention than her. Afraid she might be forgotten and replaced by him.

Pika started to push Sparks away, treating him poorly. Proven she was on top of him, reminding him and her family she was the oldest. Sparks saw his older sister as a bully. No matter where he was, she always tries to make his life miserable. He never had a single friend due to the mean rumors spread by his sister. Despite all of his sister’s bullying, he never stopped caring for her. After all, his mother told him to not lose hope for Pika. She will come around eventually, Sparks deep down believed his sister can change. Meanwhile Pika has been told to stop her harassments and bullying towards her younger brother. Her father reminded her that one of these days, she will lose the most important Pokémon in her life if she continues. Even if Pika claims she shows no care for Sparks, her father knows she has a soft spot for Sparky.

After Pika evolved just 2 days, their home village was attacked by strong wild Pokémon. Pika’s parents were missing so she was left with Sparky alone. He was scared and holding onto his sister’s paw. Pika knew she couldn’t battle against strong Pokémon so she fled. Unfortunately she and Sparks get caught by the wild Pokémon. Trying her best to protect him, Pika failed as she was knocked out, leaving the scream of her younger brother.

Her village was destroyed. Her parents and Sparks were missing, assuming they were dead, Pika was left alone to survive. Her entire childhood was her as a wild Pokémon. Eventually meeting a human, making new friends with others who weren’t Pokémon. And as a teenager, reuniting with her lost brother.
