Great great great! But I wish to see this without manipulation. Try, someday. Anyway, this is awesome. Congrats.

Thanks, Ana It'd be tricky to capture this as a photo. I've been to California beaches several times and I have yet to see something like this. Plus, I'd have to steal two adorable kids to model
However, I'm starting to lead the 6 year olds at my church, so there might be a chance yet. I'll be on the lookout

Grace, thanks for the kind comment. Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the photos. This was a manip, combining photos taken from sxc.hu and brushes borrowed from *aleksandra . I deeply appreciate the though.

heh, that's the key for manips. Taking from different sources and making them blend together seemlessly. Thanks again, Grace! I'm glad you like it

I thought this was too good to be true Very well done though. The colouring is beautiful and the children in the foreground really made this piece
I'm just trying to work out what the brushes were... is it the birds?

Ah, thanks for the kind words. Yes, I'm happy with the way the colors turned out. I was trying two different skies and this one turned out best. And yep, the brushes were the birds

There is a funny triangle effect between the sunlight rays and a smooth part in the sand that really draws the eye into the sunset which I like a lot.
So true, I do see it sometimes, but there are some moments that I truely am too caught up in building my sandcastles to notice the beauty around me. Funny thing, life, sometimes we do enjoy it, but never ask why it's there. Why do we enjoy something beautiful so much?
Your photo was truely beautiful in many ways, and best of all it captured a little part of the truth and made it clear. So clear that even a child could see it.

heh, thanks for pointing on the odd triangle formation. I hadn't noticed that before, but I do now. I guess I just got lucky with my cloning
Indeed. People are always searching for miracles, but all they have to do is look up and open their eyes. Small wonders are all around us. I'm that way too somtimes -- caught up in building my own temporal sandcastles.
Thank you for taking the moment to delve deeper with this piece, as well as the generous comment. It's much appreciated, bro.
