HAD to get up. I knew that the weather was fine and that I would probably never see so many vintage sailing boats on one place at the same time. (See Mail)
The worst part was that there was no coffee available in the hotel at the time. I finally had breakfast (an excellent one) at 9:30

I can get up early but I wouldn't have made it to 9:30 without coffee

Maybe I could have got one at the train station. Everything else was still closed. MacDonalds, bakeries, gas stations ....

Oh I shudder to think - occasionally I take my own one-cup coffee brewer along with me, just in case.

It was tough, but I made it
The system "courtesy cup" where you can make your own instant coffee or tea in the hotel room is not very wide-spread in German hotels. Sometimes you find it.
I like it, also because I hate to perform all the morning routines BEFORE the first cup of coffee.

Yes, over here I think every hotel has an in-room coffee maker now. Ah, coffee... so many health benefits besides the obvious pleasure and stimulation... what a delight it is
