Description
Wahoo!

It's sad to see that this day has finally come. But I'm happy that Charles is still around to see how grateful we all are for his work as Mario.
You'll probably never see this, but I want to say the impact you've had on my life is indescribable. Maybe you weren't responsible for being the one who came up with the idea for Mario, or the one who designed and brought to life so many games that I found myself hooked on for hours and hours, jumping from block to block and kicking turtles. But your voice is the first thing that came to my mind whenever I thought of Mario.
From the classic "๐๐'๐-๐ฎ-๐บ๐ฒ, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ!" I heard when starting Super Mario 64 on my Nintendo DS, until the "๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐บ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ-๐ฎ-๐๐ผ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐บ๐ ๐ด๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ!" watching the credits roll after rescuing the princess; you are as important to the video game industry as the creator of said plumber himself. Many people may not know your name, your face, or may not recognize you in other roles; but without your work, effort, passion and such admirable dedication to this character, Mario would not be even the shadow of such an incredible worldwide phenomenon that he is today.
Although I have never met you and probably will ever meet you in person. Thank you so much Charles Martinet, for voicing my childhood. It doesn't matter what or who comes in the future. You will always be Mario to all of us. Wahoo!
