(Note: This episode took place before One Hundred (Season 7 Finale) and Season 8 (Unit Patrol))

Episode Title: Carl's in Jail

Synopsis/Plot:

The episode opens as Meatwad is taking his driver's license exam from Carl, as he stated it's "better than the DMV". He ends up leaving the road where Carl usually took Meatwad in and wrecking the city, before driving off an unfinished bridge the president just opened and falling into an abyss. The police follow 2 Wycked and end up driving off the bridge and into the abyss themselves. Meatwad, Carl, and the police all land on top of a truck full of fruit punch being delivered to a Retirement Home, causing it to fall over and spill all the punch. The rest home gets flooded with it as a result. Although Meatwad is responsible due to his stupidity and childish behavior, the incident occurred under Carl's supervision, and he is sent to prison for gross negligence, risking people's life with reckless driving (and presumed alcoholic driving), and imitation of a driving instructor.

Carl: But I don't belong here! It's all a big misunderstanding for god's sake!
Prisoner Man #1: Yeah, I don't belong here, either!
Prisoner Man #2: Me too! I'm innocent!
Prisoner Man #3: [yelling in a butch Southern drawl] I belong here! [this triggers some other prisoners to complaining about their not belonging here too]
Carl: Okay. You can do this, Carl. You can get through this without losing your goddamn sanity. Oh, that's a hell of a highway we don't want to go down again. Positives. Think of the positive thoughts. Brighter sides. Let's see... I've got no more pool to keep it guarded. Yeah! [laughs then jumps to the floor] In fact, no more being home alone. No more carjackers. No more drunk driving, no more Meatwad... [Carl's brain clicks and a sonar ping is heard] No more phone solicitors, no more Master Shake! No more company potlucks, no more Frylock! [gets into bed] No more lawn defense, no more Aqua Teens! No more insurance payments, no more Meatwad! No more Master Shake! [laughing] No more Frylock! [screaming maniacally] No more mother-effin' Aqua Teens! [laughs and then sighs] I think I'm going to like this place.

In prison, he realizes that he will not see the Aqua Teens again for a very long time, and starts to enjoy it. Meanwhile, Meatwad is depressed that Carl is in jail and Master Shake tells him that it is Meatwad's fault he got Carl into Jail. The Aqua Teens sets out to free him from jail. First, Master Shake's idea was that they try to rob the bank in order to get arrested themselves, but Master Shake gets wrapped up in the bureaucratic niceties of banking and forgets they are trying to commit a crime. Next, they disguise themselves as rocks that the prisoners smash as labor. They try to communicate with Carl, who calls the guards, but they dismiss his conversation with three rocks as a hallucination and move him to kitchen duty. Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad are then smashed by another inmate, costing them their deposit on the costumes. Then they hide in a vat of chili in the cafeteria and offer to help Carl escape through it, but he explains to them that he likes it in prison, which Master Shake refuses to believe. Meatwad worries that Carl is completely institutionalized in prison and he needs to get him out. In an attempt to coax him, Frylock tells Carl if he can escape, he will promise that he won't bother them again and promise Meatwad that he'll get a driver's license, but Carl refuses. He calls for the prison guards again and is reassigned again after the prison guards believe that Carl is going crazy.

Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad appear to him yet again on a coat hanger assembly line, and when he calls for a guard, he somehow perceives Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad as raw materials used to make the coat hangers and dismisses him to his cell once again. Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad then appear in Carl's cell toilet, asking him to hop in, and when Carl calls for a guard again, he simply flushes them down the toilet and leaves. They then appear in his bed, and Carl calls for the guards yet again, but this time the three guards that appear are Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad in disguise. After they leave, the real guards show up after hearing his screaming, but Carl thinks its still Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad in disguise and rips off their faces. This is the last straw for the guards, who strap Carl into a straight jacket and throw him into solitary confinement complete with the music of "Insane in the Membrane by Cypress Hill", convinced he's completely lost his sanity. Despite this, he is glad to finally be alone and away from the Aqua Teens...

Carl: Okay, Let's look at the brighter side again. I'm finally away from those three. Yes. All alone in my nice, soft room.
Meatwad: Made of meat! [Sings 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. The room is made of red meat as Meatwad's face appears on all sides of the wall. Carl screams]

But suddenly Meatwad's face appears all over the walls and floor of the padded cell and begins to drive him insane by singing 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. Carl screams in horror at the incessant singing...but suddenly the scene transitions back to Meatwad driving off the cliff and crashing into the fruit punch truck, once again flooding the rest home. Carl stumbles out of the wreckage and is confronted by the police again, but to his surprise they arrest Meatwad instead of him. From this, he concludes that his prison sentence was merely a hallucination and is happy that he's not going to jail, however after a police officer informs him that she already did his time, Mrs. Puff suddenly sees himself wearing a prison uniform of orange with a chain ball on his ankle.

He once again screams in horror as the scene transitions back to his sitting in 2 Wycked going off the cliff again, seemingly having suffered another hallucination, but this time he sees Donna, a prisoner with a masculine voice from his first hallucination, driving the boat instead of Meatwad. Screaming yet again, the scene transitions back to Carl sitting in 2 Wycked driving off the cliff, this time with Meatwad behind the wheel and no police cars behind them. Exasperated and realizing the scene is just going to keep looping, Carl says "Oh, screw it," immediately closing the episode.
