beautiful work as well... if you make your own color prints maybe considering lightening the print slightly and dodging out (or burning in for cibachrome) the shadowed part on the face. or you could just have a small reflector (or white piece of cardboard) bouncing a tiny bit more light on that side of the face so you don't lose it as much

hehe.. it reminds me of that picture of the farmer and his woman... i don't know if you know which one i'm talking about.. but he's holding a pitchfork and she's standing next to him and they're looking into the distance... this picture reminds me of what the old woman would have been when she was younger.

Oh, sehr schön diese ausgeblichenen Farben. wie aus den siebzigern.
auch werden da Erinnerungen wach, der Kachelofen meiner Oma - in Klogrün und so merkwürdiger Kitsch der draufsteht.
Die Befindlichkeit ist auch sehr interessant. Irgendetwas zwischen Apathie und Ekel. Aber ich bin schlecht solche Dinge zu raten.
Generell mag ich deine Arbeiten sehr. Sehr angenehmer Stil!

Die Farben sind wunderschön. Ich mag die Bildwelten, die du schaffst (!). Kleidung und Hintergrund passen gut zusammen...
Was bedeutet das Bild für dich, was erzählt es?

Es erzählt mir viele verschiedene Dinge. Zum einen eben -wie im Titel erwähnt- sehe ich dort diese Vernunft heraus. An Dinge wie Zeit gebunden zu sein.
Vielleicht steckt darin auch ein wenig Monotonie. Ich weiß es nicht und ich finde es auch schwierig von -meinen- Bildern zu erzählen und was ich damit bezweckt hatte. Ich denke du verstehst das.

Hä? Das finde ich nun wiederum überhaupt nicht. Loretta hat lebendige Farben, eher farbiger... das hier hab ich entsättigt, da das Licht so beschissen war in dieser Wohnung.

evtl. ist meine erinnerung so schlecht, kann sein, mein chef hat mir das buch mal unter die nase gehalten, hab nichts vor mir, aber die Farben sind doch so...milchig? lol
naja vorallem ähnlich find ich so das zweidimensionale ähnlich wie bei ihr, hab das mal versucht nachzumachen, kläglich gescheitert
