Here's another #OC from my henry hare story, for now I'm calling her just Spring until I figure another name that suits her, preferably in korean.

She's a chaotic little fox who's learning sorcery and how to make potions, she lives in the capital of a far away country, but in summers, she and her aunt Autumn go to different places in bussiness and vacation trips.

In one of this, she meets both Henry and Larry after Henry and Autumn get the same job.

She's an hybrid between both a kumiho and a huli jing, both of these are like the japanese mythical fox, the kitsune, but there are some differences, since they come from the korean and chinese folklore respectively.

I found that the kumiho is actually an evil spirit while, the chinese and japanese counterparts varies their moral compass, the kumiho feeds of humans, specifically their hearts. spring, being a hybrid, instead of feeding from a physical part of the body of other creatures, she can absorb the magic around her, and althougt she doesn't really need it, this may be useful for a power up.

I also found, after reading the comic "Eclips Apprentice" from @journeytomonkiekid (from Tumblr) that the chinese spirit foxes (at least as I know, I'm not sure if other versions have the same rule) don't get nine tails instantly at birth like the kitsune, but as they grow older and learn more, they actually grow a new tail, spring, being so young, she only has (for now) one tail and a half.

In contrast with Larry, who is learning both bard magic and how to become a blacksmith, Spring is learning different kinds of sorcery and potion making from her aunt, who's been taking care of her since she was a pup.

I don't know much about either chinese or korean folklore so if anyone can tell me more about this or more creatures, please tell me, any information is well recieve.
