Description
Since another chapter featuring Alex has been released, and one showing a glimpse of her powers, I think it's time that I give her a small character profile.

Little history regarding her, when I got into Sonic again (which was about 16 years or so ago), I made this fan character, along with others. I was one of the few that believed humans belonged in Sonic. Although, my mindset was that they would work best if they had powers like Sonic and his team so they could keep up with them.

Over the course of that time, she's been through a lot of designs, as you can imagine, as well as what her powers were. Even her full name went through many variations: Alexandria, Alexandra, Alexia, and other names that would give her the nickname Alex. Three things remained the same though: that she was called Alex, her main color was green, and that she used a sword.

And when working on Legacy, I decided to bring her officially into the picture. She was originally going to have sun powers because I had a celestial theme going on, but it wasn't quite working. And when coming up with Mystics and their powers and abilities, something clicked.

The aurora. It has a green theme, and has a connection to the sun. Best of both worlds. Not to mention, it's not really a power I see to much in fiction, even though I think it would be an amazing power to have. Elegent yet powerful.

I also merged her swordsmanship with casting. A little something I picked up from Final Fantasy XIV with the Red Mage (which is my main in that game). She can fight in close-range and long-range combat, which makes her extremely versitile.

And in Rise of Chaos , she's about to discover just what she's capable of.

As for her design, I was inspired by Kingdom Hearts and Hyrule Warriors. I based her hair off of Kairi's Kingdom Hearts 2 design, as well as her shoes and hip bag kind of mimicking Kairi's outfit with a more sporty look to them. Her eyes are more of a design from Hyrule Warriors, and I didn't mean for this to happen, but she kind of has Midna's smirk.

Oh well, I love Midna. She's the best Zelda companion character.

And I settled on Alexa because it's short and sweet.
