Description It pained him. It was his fault, he knew it. Though they all denied... It's a ball of lies. Torn between relief and utter guilt.

Temno was carried to safety and was patched up. He lost an arm. His right one, to be specified. The egg was extremely close to hatching, and it just made Shale and Katsuo feel worse. He wouldn't witness the hatching... Because of Katsuo. He had requested to fly higher, not caring of the dangers. The storm had raged on, and Katsuo saw it. But he still wanted his own desires. And now his father is in bed, struggling with pain. He hadn't even woke up long enough to communicate. It hurt... Katsuo walked through town, bored. He was getting older, and had no job. He hadn't even though about that. He'd have to get his own home and bills and... It made Katsuo bite his cheek walls nervously. Shale mentioned a bit back that Katsuo needed a good wife... He tightened his grip of the bag that hung from his shoulder. Wyngrew walked by, their  faces obscured. Ahhh, the day was bright and warm; why didn't Katsuo just enjoy it? Temno would be fine. Yeah, he'll miss the egg hatching and his arm is gone so holding things will... Jeez, theres no justifying it is there? He wiped his cheek, feeling terrible. To comfort himself, Katsuo held the bandanna like cloth around his neck. Given by the closest wyngro to him. He missed Tenshi more than anything. He wanted his friend back. But they had left him behind, moving to a larger city. It made Katsuo angry, yet pained too. His legs felt  like noodles, shuffling across the hot ground. A building caught his eye. Katsuo turned and looked up, gazing at the building in front of him. A library? He blinked and walked up the stone steps. The door creaked open, and he was greeted by a wyngro. Librarian? He thought so. "H-hi..." He greeted. The female looked up from a thick book she held. "Hello." Katsuo's eyes shifted from bookshelf to bookshelf. "Looking for a specific book? I'm Iset, the librarian here." Katsuo jumped, startled. "A-ah, no. I'm just looking around... It's very nice in here." He said, scanning the pages of a random book. Iset nodded, "I think wisdom is important. Books are perfect for learning, to me anyhow." Her amber eyes glittered. "Oh... I... I've been having some hard times recently with family..." He said, letting it out. Iset frowned, "I see." Perhaps... "Do you have any good fictional story books..?" He asked, gazing up. Katsuo was short.. Making his daily like mostly looking up. "Ah, yes. I know a very good book for you." She warmly said, and her glands glowed a beautiful yellow. A book moved from the shelf by itself, and difted towards Katsuo. "Here you are. It's big, but it's a good one to read. Trust me." He opened it, touching the slightly bent pages. "How'd you do that?" He tilted his head. She turned, flicking her tail. "Light magic. It's very handy." Ah, magic. He had assumed that. He'd never seen light magic in person, however. "Thank you. I'll be going now." Katsuo said, sticking the book in his bag. "I'll bring it back!" He called out as he shut the door behind him. Iset smiled and tapped her cane lightly, making a small thumping noise.

Katsuo walked upstairs. Shale was probably caring for Temno in the bedroom. He shut his door behind him and locked it. Throwing the bag onto the bed, he pulled out the book from it. He crossed his legs and opened to the first page. "Chapter One: Sunrise..."
The first chapter wasn't bad. It was... interesting at least. The style was hard to understand, but Katsuo assumed that was because he was young. Hmm... The story was about a wyngro, no age stated, who couldn't be happy. He loomed around everyday, a walking zombie. It was because he realized that he put his desires over everything, and because of that... He had lost some things very important to him. Katsuo couldn't stop reading. A knock came at the door, and he hid the book under his pillow. Katsuo unlocked the door. "Yeah?" Shake sighed, "Your father's doing better but, he hasn't woken up yet... I'm going to town, watch him okay?" Kastuo forced a nod. "Okay..." Shale's pale eyes drifted up and down Katsuo, tints of sadness. He sat beside the bed, watching his father. His breathing was shallow, but normal. His right arm was covered in bandages... nothing there. Katsuo pulled out the book, reading more.
Wait,
Was Iset trying to tell him to let go of his sadness? It's not that simple... But, what if Katsuo wasn't even trying? He was lucky... His dad was at least alive! Maybe he was ignoring the positive things in life... How stupid was he. Katsuo smiled and put his hand on Temno's, happy he's alive.

Poor katsuo had learning to do TT Temno's getting better, too.
