What are "Titans"?

The Titans arrived in Elysium rather suddenly and without warning during the Summer of 329. Whether by magic or the might of a massive unnatural storm these beasts were thrown from their world into the foreign landscape of Elysium. Each of thes titans possess immense magical powers making them powerful potential allies...or dangerous enemies.

These NPCs act as potential quest givers for our players and their characters assuming you remain on their good sides! But be warned, each titan is different and have specific goals and desires of their own. These should be accounted for and approriately represented in rps or images with said character. If you are unsure as to how they may react in a certain situation, please feel free to note the group for a mods help!

About Uldroum:

The largest of the titans to appear, Uldroum is what the natives in Elyisum have dubbed a Tonitruum (Ton-e-troom). Easily mistaken for a Vulcanos Dragon from a distance, Uldroum and his species are actually much smaller by comparison. Despite being smaller than a Vulcanos, they are still much larger than the average unicorn and easily capable of liftening them off the ground with their talons. Uldroum and his species are gifted with the power of lightning magic, a dangerous and votile power that makes these dragons even more daunting to approach.

Uldroum is easily identifable due to his plethora of scars and pitch black color. His chest sports clear claw marks while his feet and toes are greatly marred. His feet sport the most damage out of all his limbs, supporting the dragons proud claims of being a master of combat. His tail is spotted with burns which never fully healed and are the largest of his old wounds.
Uldroum is also known for his spear like tail and crown of spiny horns which often conduct sparks of electricty when he grows impatient or angry.

While daunting in appearance, this wyvern is actually an introvert. He prefers to be alone and since arriving in Elysium wants nothing more than to find a way back home. He is distrustful and stand offish, avoiding questions when he can and only ever offering short answers if he really must. He is happy to talk about his home in a literal sense, recalling that he lived amongst sea side cliffs and some sort of cave system. Any details about any family or friends will cause him to clam up. It's unclear if it's because he simply can not remember anything or if its a sensitive topic for him.

Uldroum also lives with a sense of, seemingly, unfound paranoia. He is slow to trust individuals he meets and assumes everyone is secretly plotting against him. He sneers at promises made to him, often muttering a soft and condescending 'oh sure' or 'a likely story'.

Any mention of the Titan of Sky will immediately turn this serpent as the pair have an ancient and long standing rivalry. Many of the scars Uldroum sports were given to him by this other titan. Their blood feud has boiled for decades and, despite being in a new world, doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon.

Uldroum Quests
All quests must be a minimum of 600 words (lit) or be partial body images with a background.

Seeking Shelter

Uldroum is fickle when it comes to where he settles down. Paranoia makes the dragon relocate every couple of months to avoid being attacked. Thing is, he never says who he's fleeing from but often blames "other" dragons. He will only roost in high mountainous keeps or sea side cliffs and will not accept any other option. Know of a location that you think he may approve of? Lead him onwards and earn a reward!

Requirements:

1st submission detailing running into the titan and offering to help him. Specify where you plan on taking him.
2nd submission detailing the route taken to the location and arriving there.

Hunting Grounds

Uldroum isn't the only hungry mouth in Elysium but does face some steep competition when it comes to hunting. He isn't a picky eater and is open to hunting things that many unicorns would consider threats. Be it wolves, goblins or even aggressive sky writers, this dragon will try anything once. Will you assist him in his hunting exploits? Uldroum will tease players that hunting rival unicorns or other less dangerous creatures would be easier. Will your character convince him to spare the innocent or use his hunger to exact revenge?

Requirements:

1st submission detailing running into the titan and offering to help him. Characters should discuss what to hunt and how they plan on helping him hunt. This is a battle system quest! Resulting mod comment will include combat scenario.
2nd submission detailing the hunt itself and resulting battle from 1st submission. Reward will be based on if the previous combat is successful or a failure.

Embarrassing Circumstance

Elysium isn't Uldroums native lands so its not surprising that the dragon isn't accustomed to her environment. Seems the great beast has gone and gotten himself into a pickle. Players may choose to have their characters encounter Uldroum ill from eating something (or someone) he shouldn't have or having fallen ill to some sort of sickness. Will your character help aid the great beast or leave him to recover on his own? Uldroum will insist that he's fine and attempt to prove he isn't sick. He's much too prideful to show too much weakness.

Requirements:

1st submission detailing running into the titan and what ails him. Did he consume something rotten or is he simply sick? Which of your characters help him?
2nd submission detailing the cure your character comes up with or how they care for the titan. It may also include his eventual recovery.

History Lesson

Uldroum is very curious about the history of this mysterious land he finds himself in. By chance you encounter him one day on one such flight of discovery. Players wishing to take on this quest should note the group before beginning it. Mods will pick a region of Elysium that Uldroum will ask your character about.

Requirements:

1st submission detailing running into the titan and teaching him about the region he asks about.
**Players may choose to make a second submission where their character takes Uldroum to the region he inquired about. This is optional but will yield a better prize**
