Aleu is my fave Balto 2 character and IΒ΄ve always wanted to see her in the Balto 1 style. Did my best, but the real animators of this movie are the best ^^. I also needed a little cut-and-paste-Photoshop practice and my brain needed to do something else than commissions for a while ^^. Commissions are fun but there is no Balto
. Yes: this is also supposed to be a screenshot. Background created partly by my Balto anime and my Heartlines pics.
And of course the cat has to be there ^^, cracks me up every time XD.

Thanks. Yeah it always bugs me the last two movies did not have the same artists as the first one. Both are good stories and should have had more time and money on their paws ^^.

I suppose we shouldn't complain, getting the same team of artists is almost unheard of in the case of sequels especially ones that are traditionally animated. But there were a quite a few mistakes with the animation in this one and in some places looked downright stupid.

Oh god yes! I only saw the third one once when I was a kid but I remember what ruined it for me were the song numbers. Balto never sung songs before, that's why I liked it because they weren't trying to be Disney!

Exactly. The songs in WQ are okay but still, there shall be no songs besides end theme in Balto XC. Especially not sung by a stupid goose named Stella XD.

meh, it's fine but why do females always have to look utterly feminine? aleu's balto 2 design is fine, it's just the animation that's horrendous.

Yeah I liked that she did not look to much girl. I have seen worse animation and at least it is animation just very square-drawn characters.
She actually does somewhat curl her tail in the beginning of the movie when she is still a "dog", not total husky curl but sometimes: www.animationsource.org/sites_β¦ www.animationsource.org/sites_β¦ not very good screenshots but look at the scene on the boat. IΒ΄ve always though it is a symbolism, like before she runs off she is a dog and the more she is out in the wild he more wolf she becomes so her tail moves more like Baltos tail.
