Tails and Cosmo then smiled at each other, still soaking wet, with tears flowing out of their eyes.
"Tails," Cosmo then said in a raspy voice, "I'm sorry I scared you like this. I didn't want anyone to get worried about the Emerald. I should've said something."
"Forget it, Cosmo. I'm here, now, and things will be fine with me around." Tails replied, smiling at her lovingly.
"Oh, Tails," Cosmo said as her hands went up to Tails' shoulders. Tails' hands went back to Cosmo's face, and they both then got the lovesick look on their faces, looking at each other.
