However, this is exactly why Percy DOES have a life. Maybe he isn't a real person, but he lives in the words on the pages of the books. The things he has done haven't really affected our society, but it's still a good story. No, Percy isn't perfect and has his stupid moments, but who doesn't? I'm sure there have been times in your life when you trusted a friend who betrayed you. I'm sure you've eaten something that made you sick. Percy would be a...Mary Sue if he was perfect and smart and strong etc., and that's no fun to read about :l
FANTASY isn't REALITY so in FANTASY we don't have to be logical

no! there is a vampiers disease you get a fear of water (from the myth vamp's can't pass over running water) you get a life thretaning rash form going out in the sun (and from not going out in the sun your skin goes very pail) somthing to do with the pigment of the skin changing, your gums recead giving the apearence of fangs and you have to have regular blood transplants somthing to do with the minarals and iron in your blood bing used up
