I love this pose. The inking worked well, as I was considered using pencil to shade. But I wanted very dramatic lighting and that would have been too excessive for pencil, as it is also hard for me to achieve very dark solid blacks with pencil strokes.This expresses the long-fought denial and final realization of the inner beast we all hold within our cages of human flesh. Though the acceptance is not always easy...

I really love this image, just for the painful depth of emotion in it, you feel so sorry for this werewolf as he looks self aware and in pain but at the same time this image is about him accepting that fate and coming to terms with what he is and that gives it such deep impact.
