Description
I'm leaving the story out, yet again.Have patience with me - this is the first painting of this kind I've ever made. A first time thing, in more than one way :]
I really -had- to use references for the background, and I hope it came out okay. It was a true challenge

Itβs not about the technique, which you master in every painting of yours (and just gets better each day). absolutely captivating and inspiring, my first thought was "if only I had the means for this sort of expression." the figure emanates a sort of enigmatic quality, but in such a way as to appeal rather than repel. the play of shadows alongside light is brilliant and the selection of colors blend splendily.
