Sooo... yes.... weeeelll... I don't think this one is as 'good' as the one I did earlier, but it was fun to do. Tried something new, again, so, anyway.Snippet of the text meant to go with it:

The moss, underneath the touch of her fingertips, was thick, and sticky; when she retracted her trembling digits, it clung to the satin skin. Stubbornly, bitterly; scented in a cloyingly sweet way that became almost overwhelming, as she rubbed her fingertips together.
It smells like blood.
That was her first thought, and it was strong. It nailed itself firmly to the walls of her mind, and lingered there as she turned to rush deeper into the woods. Soft, silky tears streaming down ivory white cheeks.
Pale blossoms clutched to her chest, as if their bridal-veil petals could somehow banish the harsh words she had spoken - and those that had been spoken to her.

Reminds me of show white. The hunter in the background watching the frightened child he's supposed to have killed run for her life, while already the wood land creatures and beginning to take notice of her (the squirrel and robin).
Eh, or bloody moss.

I like it, but I often don't comment because all has been said. However I do notice a shadow on the background, is that someone folowing her perhaps?
Perhaps it's just a tree and my imagination plays tricks on me because, well the peice is so good and detailed.
I would also like to know what you use, I am guessing photoshop or a program of that sort?
Regardless it's talented even if for a computer program... it's great.

Enayla, you did it again.
I mean, you're probably one of the most talented digi-paint users I have not only witnessed on this website, not the entire internet, but in my whole life. Your paintings are much different than what someone else would attempt to create, always realisticaly-lookin' and details achieving perfection, beautiful.
There is not one thing I don't like about this image, rather everything's amazing. From very well done exposure to the realistic feel of trees and fog, nature in general, to the self-expression of lost sense and creepy tone. The hollow shadow in the distance gives it a mysterious and haunted feel.
One thing I have noticed about your works, is that most of them are based upon a female being outcasted in forest, hunted by neglections. I'd like to see some expansion on your creativity in future works, somethin' little bit unusual, yet unique and revealing.

Hrmm...Forest glade, foggy setting; enchanted, lovely damsel, possibly distressed; Looks like the ingredients for an all-time top favourite are right here! This is one of the prettiest paintings I've seen in a long while...I'm not sure what medium you used, but I'm almost positive it's not photo-manip, and even if it were it would be an absolutely stunning masterpiece. The talent displayed here is almost unfathomable to myself, one who has barely the patience to paint a single piece of fruit (and then have it utterly ruined by my demonic art teacher...I will get you, Mr. Powell!
), and I'm nothing short of astounded by the quality of this. My only complaint: Her hair and bright lipstic make her frighteningly resemble Michael Jackson at first glance O.o (don't worry! It's not bad, and I'm sure you didn't mean it!...Right? Her nose is much prettier anyway
)
The realism of the trees, the eerie, dynamic appearance of the fog, the utter radiance of detail in the maiden, and the apparition of the spectre in the background--all perfection. Even if you don't hold it "up to par" with your other submission, I find it stunning, and I'm certain the rest of the communtiy will share my opinion. So certain, that I'm willing to take wagers--I bet that this will break the 200 Favourites mark by month's end. To help push that bet, I'll add my own to the pool. Incredible! The innocence captured in her eyes is fantastic. The looming figure in the distance gives one the chills. To capture emotion in a painting is utterly magical. Bravo!!

about this work, I think that not only you manage to creat a piece of art that is worth a million favs but you manage to recreate an ambience so realistic and some expressions that takes you away.
I will never get tired of commenting your works and seeing them.
I like them all and I can't decide which one I prefer... well, I think I like them all.
I feel like I could comment on your work forever but you would get tired .

I'm kinda curious to know why or what parts you thought this picture needed more "oomph," because from where I stand, it's a great picture. On an emotional level its awesome--lotta that romantic angst that's soo delicious in your work. On a technical level, it's more complete--beautiful background that seamlessly fits with the characters, inhibiting a nefarious storyline. I can easily see you doing a series of adult versions of romantic fairy tales, like Snow White or Sleeping Beauty and such. In any case, carry on the great work!

this is a beautiful piece. i love the green hues and the way her dress works with the color in the forest to make her appear as if she is part of it. the spirit in the background on the left is a nice touch as well, reminds me of a pathworking. absolutely beautiful, and the detail is extraordinary. excellent work as always! +fav
