Serpentine's a male painter with confidence issues and a past drug addiction. he was also Deaths first love ,when serpentine inevitably died of old age he mourned then searched for the reincarnation ,which he would then repeat the cycle over and over again waiting for the final reincarnation for them to fall in love one last time and be together for the rest of their afterlife.

because of these things death is actually extremely good at healing, and technically better than the Leading life
death is a mix of a smooth pale half mask and a dark no mask . this mix is of the 2nd strongest physically and the strongest magically . though death carries more smooth half mask traits
every 3 months death has to chip away at the heart shaped mask that grows over his face, it's made of the same material as bone but the process of removing it does not hurt
since his true couldn't conceive naturally they used the cloud flower method where the child is developed in a small pocket dimension powered by both parents magic then the parents names are inscribed on a plant ( this could be done at any time). when the child is developed or both parents die/ abandon it, it's transported to the plant in a protective barrier covered by petals of a flower even if the original plant doesn't naturally bloom that can only be opened by the parents and specific spells. if the parents are dead, are to far or never show up the child won't age and will die when the plant dies , the upside is they can be taken out by anyone in that case this has saved many races
