Description
Cluttered, crowded pic of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and several other recurring characters from the Mario universe.One thing that makes the Mario series better than the Sonic series(in my opinion, and besides controls, voices, and fun factor) is that it's enemies are still a big part of the series. Goombas appear in nearly every game(besides SMB2 and Super Mario Sunshine....that's it, I think), as do Koopa Troopas, Piranha Plants, Bullet Bills, etc. Shy Guys(my favorite!) have, since SMB2, become extremely talented, and in their second game, SMW2:YI, have now more than 20 different varieties, ranging from gourmets to flying gardeners. Then Sonic series always has new enemies in each installment(for the most part), and in recent games, there are only 6-8 different enemy types.
On the downside, Mario is rather undeveloped. Sure, we know he loves pasta, but that's about it. Oh, cake, too. Don't forget cake.
Flat shaded cuz I'm lazy. For the first time ever, I'm happy with my pic of Waluigi! Yosh!!

Plus, you just gotta love how they've made the Wario Bros. into a comical, cartoony duo. They've made the opening movies for the Mario sports games just awesome.

I have to say, my favourite part of this one is that ridiculous fuzzy. I can tell what everything is except for that weird thing behind the wiggler. What is it?

The thing behind Wiggler is called Gabon, Spike, or the Mace Penguin. It's from Ice Land in SMB3, and they pull spiked orbs out of their mouths and hurl them at you. I'm not quite sure why they have 3 different names.

I simply can't find much fun with most the newer mario games. But at least the games keep their originality. Unlike the Sonic games where every other game you are fighting another Sonic look alike.(StH2 - Silver Sonic, StH3 - Metallix, SA2B - Shadow, StHCD - Metal Sonic).

I'm not saying I hate the Sonic games; it's just that they aren't as good as they could be, with they're glitchy controls and terrible music, among other things. It saddens me that Sonic Team is running it's own franchise into the dirt, as opposed to straight ahead like Sonic would like to go.

But Mario isn't the type of chara to develop! I mean, Rockman is the same way- look what Capcom did when they tried to 'develop' him- crappy games and a fucked up storyline!
Sure- maybe alil more... life in to the chara, yet I think Mario is fine with that lack in his personality- makes the games fun... tho, they always have this repeatedness about them that make me get bored of them>>
Oh well... I like that you CGed this clutter- It's easier to spot out the charas(and I don't know ALL the mario gang!) No Baby Mario- or that really funky tall Shy-guy ;0;

I see what you mean. Then again, Mario has other things most other characters don't have: a job; a house with a bathroom; a voice that fits him; etc. That's all he really needs to be the Italian Stallion he is. Oh, and I love the way Luigi and Waluigi came out as well! Probably my favorites. In fact, I like the way I draw Luigi better than how I draw Mario, overall.
Here's something interesting:
Wario is a much more clever name than it looks like. To any normal person, it may seem as if it's just Mario with an upside down "M". It's actually a pun on the Japanese word "warui". Waluigi(which I thought was incredibly stupid at first) is similar to that, except it puns "waruigi(I think that's it)", which means "somebody who is bad" as upposed to just "bad" like Wario is.

You must draw more Luigi- plus he needs more powered love. All I see is him looking really queeny(drag) or him being the pun of some really bad jokes ;0;. Poor guy. I wonder if I can find the pictures I drew of him... ahh... 15 year old artwork.

The problem with Luigi is that Nintendo has shaped him into a very feminine, stay-at-home coward, so it's reason as to how those sort of things happen. Heck, I here in the 'Cube version of Mario Golf one of his victory poses is the sign-language motion for "lesbian". I remember the days of the N64, when Luigi's voice was actually deeper than Mario's was, but now it's higher, and more nasel(that's understandable, because Luigi's nose is bigger than Mario's....it wiggles when he moves around....). Even Mario's voice got higher, and Waluigi's isn't the raspy thing he first had in Mario Tennis; now he sounds like Evil Betty from Kung Pow....
The game that REALLY did it for Luigi is Mario & Luigi, which makes him out to be a homosexual, cross-dressing, cry baby who's the butt of a ton of jokes. But, it is really funny that nobody knows who he is! Especially Bowser: "Mr. green Mario brother guy". Heh.

I remember that! My friend was said it was becuz most ppl didn't know who he was- But why? Everyone knows Luigi! I mean, the movie and all the other games he's been in! BAH!
Since I didn't own a DS or GBA at the time, I only played about 10mins of that game(which isn't a whole lot) so I dunno how they treat Luigi in it... bastids.
Oh well... I just hope he gets a cool game where hes NOT some Scooby-doo/Shaggie rip off chara.
(I mean, he's pure evil in SSBM!)

Great as always. Mario games are also better because they're more stable, the 3D Sonic games can be really glitchy at times. Anyhow, as I said countless times before, your cartoony style makes all of the characters look great. faved.
