Description TenLuna for Rainmeter
Version 1.03

-----

A simple Rainmeter widget that displays the current Moon phase as an icon, with additional information in a tooltip when you hover it (such as moonrise and moonset times). To use, run the .rmskin package to install, then load your preferred variant under the TenLuna folder in the Manage Rainmeter window. On first run, you will need to set a location for TenLuna; to do this:

  • Click on the icon on the widget.
  • Use the Settings widget to search for your current or desired location by typing in a location name in the search box, and pressing Enter.
  • In the search results that appears, click on the location name to view the location on a map. To set TenLuna to that location, click on the location's corresponding "Set this location" link to the right of its name.
  • Once location is set, TenLuna will display the icon representing the current Moon phase visible from that location; hover over the Moon icon to see additional Moon information in a tooltip, such as moonrise/moonset times specific for that location, as well as sunrise and sunset times at that location.
  • At any time, if you wish to reconfigure TenLuna, click on the Moon icon to open settings. If TenLuna encounters an error while processing the data feed, the Moon icon will be replaced with an error icon; hover over the error icon to see error details.

    Minimun system requirements:

    • Windows 10
    • Rainmeter 4.5.8.3587

    Notes:

    • The FrostedGlass plugin is required by the non-Opaque variants for the blur effect to show properly. If you did not install the plugin when prompted, you may download the plugin from here , and manually installing it by extracting the appropriate DLL files to the Rainmeter plugin folder (usually C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Plugins).

    Changes to version 1.03

    • Emergency hotfix release: fixed an issue with the Weather.com data feed no longer working, due to an API key that was no longer valid.
    Changes to version 1.02
    • Fixed a potential bug similar to the one fixed in version 1.02, but affecting sunrise and sunset times instead.
Note: this version was never released.
    Changes to version 1.01
    • Fixed a bug that would sometimes result in some of the moonrise/moonset times being shown as midnight on the 1st of January, 1601. This occurs when the data feed has no date/time information for that particular moonrise/moonset, causing the widget to default to the epoch date/time, when it should instead display "N/A" in such situations.
