[ 7P 3 ]This is my very first posted Pattern for Photoshop CS. I made them because I wanted to make some parchment paper in Photoshop and actually got these off of drawings done by Leonardo Da Vinci.
Don't let my image above fool you. I used "Paperbrushes" by chain for that crinkled and photocopied edges and also "Stain Brushes" by poison-stock112 for that stained look.

Best way to use them
Make a selection and then just fill with which of the 7 Parchment Patterns you'd like to use.
It is a seamless pattern so you can make any size piece of paper you want.

It probably doesn't matter anymore but do what this says for photoshop than save as a .psd and open/place it in illustrator. Probably placing it would be best. I'm about to go do the same thing...

I have a question;
I'm making some buisiness cards, to give out at an art show next month, is it okay if I use this in the background of it? I'm thinking a parchment texture would look really good in the design I'm imagining.

Looks great! Too bad I can't actually use them... Could you provide this as a zip of jpgs as well? That way they could be used in GIMP as well.

Just found these patterns, and they are a great help for me in making various print work less plain, I do not like just plain paper in the background.
(I work at a local print shop doing brochures and such for apartment complexes)
