080924-N-9620B-009 TERRE DE NEGRES, Haiti (Sept. 24, 2008) Naval Criminal Investigative Service Special Agent Jeremy Gouthier, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), gives a Haitian girl a drink of water during a medical assessment of a local village. Kearsarge has embarked personnel from all branches of the U.S. military and medical personnel from the Canadian and Brazilian armed forces, as well as health care professionals from the U.S. Public Health Service, Project HOPE and International Aid to conduct hurricane relief operations in Haiti.
