I'm an idiot. I tried to use the faq's in order to customize my own journal and I failed miserably so I decided to make my own.the following reads as so. . .
LOOKING BACK
Its been a hell of a year as far as design is concern. This year was the first time I’ve ever posted my work on the web. With the combined exposure I've received from Bittbox and deviantART, I've gained many friends from all points of the globe. Design is truly an international affair with unlimited boundaries.
LOOKING AHEAD
The future can be as scary as a troubled past or as bright as a new beginning. Either way there is always something there waiting for you. It’s up to you to find out what it truly is. Setting goals and exercising ambition are one of the main ingredients in realizing what this gift MIGHT be . . . however you’ll probably never really know for sure. I myself have absolutely no clue. What I do know is that I want to leave a legacy. I want my work to speak louder than I ever could. And in doing so, inspire nations to express themselves to their full capacity and bring as many people with me as I can.
Care to join me? When armed with creativity, we can do anything.

Haha, it sounds like something you would do, designing your own type design instead of the normal journal. You made it look really nice - I like the color choices. The whole layout is pleasant to look at, and I like the repeating elements. I'll join you - creativity is quite the powerful weapon.

Of course you even have to do some typographic work to your journal...haha. A true designer you are buddy.
I always have to critique something about your pieces too...even if this is just a journal haha. So here it goes...this one is short...ready..ok...under the words "looking back" you should have that paragraph flush right instead of left...
See I can keep it short at times haha. Great work man, keep it up, and I must say I shall join you in this quest of yours, with creativity cannons and all ha.

what? a short critique from Badger? was that your new years resolution? hahaha. anything you write in reference to me is very much appreciated. whether its a statement or an essay.
I think the reason why I did it that was is because of how we naturally read things ( left --> right , up --> down ). So I began the passage flushed instead of ragged.
but given the interesting triangular shape of the text under " LOOKING FORWARD " I can definitely see your point. thanks for the critique as usual.

Even though if there is an attack I'll be the 1st to play dead or hide in the nearest place possible haha. Creativity cant stop bombs, it can make them look cool and explode in neat ways inside our heads, but I'm not so sure that will stop anyone from throwing one at you haha.
