Description
Here we have the praying mantis-esque oppressors of the Kaleesh. There are very few depictions of them, all of which look pretty different and a bit underwelming. Here we have a fully grown nude individual and a freshly molted young adult.

This young man is named Janvisk (oc)(named after Jack and Andrew Purvis, the puppeteers operation the one seen in A New Hope). He participated in his first and only raid on a Kaleesh camp shortly after shedding into adulthood. He entered a tent to steal any valubles he could get his hands on but when he stuck his hand into a basket of blankets he was attacked by a freshly hatched Qymaen jai Sheelal. The infant bit Janvisk, climbed up his arm and started clawing at his eyes. When Qymaen's parents returned they granted the now partially blinded young Huk mercy, expecting him to get killed by his superiors. Instead, he ran away, living on a remote world, only loosely aware of the rise and fall of the Kaleesh, Republic, and Empire.

Decades later Advindeca Kir Shekostal (oc), life long best friend of Qymaen jai Sheelal found him. Janvisk was understandably terrified and Advindeca was shocked to see a living Yam’rii. After clearing up that he was not here to kill Janvisk, Advindeca discussed the war and history with him. Janvisk told the story of his first mission and Advindeca told him that that was baby grew up to be the liberator of the Kaleesh and warlord leading genocide against the Yam'rii and many others after his transformation into General Grievous. Janvisk was hit a huge quandary, realizing that he could have killed the man responsible for the genocide of his people and many others if he had killed that baby.
