While he still might not be fat enough, I like how he turned out. And my family has informed me that that is probably the cutest opossum there will ever be. Those things are dirty ugly IRL.
Anywho, yes, this is Goku, per Dragon Ball era. I had a lot of fun drawing him upside down.
I also like how the tree turned out. Granted, the pic is a bit sparse as far as detail work goes, but I still like it. It's also interesting to note that this is the first pic I've competed where it was sketched traditionally, inked digitally, and then colored traditionally. A bit of hassle? Nah. I liked the sketch marks on the original too much to erase them. lol. I'm so tired my eyes are crossing... And yet, I have the strange desire to try to level my MapleStory character... Ahhhhh, the dilemma.....

Did you turn it upside down to draw goku, or did you just draw him upside down to start with?

lol. I turned the page whichever way I needed it. lol. Rough sketch was done with the page right-side up, the majority of the facial structures were done page upside-down, and then I turned the page as necessary. Another reason why I like traditional media so much: it's very easy to change the angle of the page.

I found one in a trashcan before when I was 7. My grandfather was playing a trick on me and told me to go look inside the trash can. It was huge D: After I ran in the house my granpa told me he would show me how to skin and cook it xDD Took me a while to figure out he was joking.
