Description
Another digital coloring trial. *Full view please*Some of Korean Slayers pals decided to make a whole book of my fanmanga, 'To Return' in SlayersWantU vol 3-5. (All links of the 'To Return' are here--> [link] ) This is a part of the cover for it.
Since my color-pencil coloring looks messy in 'Master printing' (a way of printing, cheaper than Opset way. Most Korean doujinshi printed through the Master way.), I had to color digitally in order to make the result look cleaner.
...I think this was good for my practice--Still Digital coloring's harder than my usual way, though. ^_^;

It may be a different technique for you, but the result is absolutely gorgeous. Wonderfully bright and striking colors, very vivid and alive!
And I haven't forgotten my part of the trade we did, I promise. I've just been swamped in commissions and real-life things lately.

If this digital way was harder for you, it doesn't show. It looks wonderful! I can say that this is one of my favorite pieces you've done (and that's a lot to pick from).
The detail, and the way that it's composed have my have my eye darting all over the picture, trying to take everything in. And the little things like Zelas in the top corner, and the white magic symbol by Amelia make it almost like a treasure hunt.
If you ever have a prints account, this is the first thing I'd buy to hang on my wall. It's fantastic!

Any chance we could find this doujinshi in the US? Maybe an online site that sells it? I plan to read through it all here, but I'd love to have an actual copy to read and take with me. ^_^

Oh, as for now, its English version is only in DA. ^_^; Well...Last year, a friend of my DA friend( ^w^; ) planned to make its several copies....But I don't know exactly what's going on now

It's so cleaned up! Excellent, superb job! It may not be your normal way of coloring things, but that's okay! Even in CG, it came out really well! (Better than I can do, trust me.) I mean, lookit Gourry's shampoo-commercial-worthy shiny golden hair!
I looooove Lina's wings! And what part would be the front if it were folded in half? (Which is what I assume the cover would be...) Are Korean manga books read from left to right or right to left?
And what sorta prison is Xellos in?
Anyways, it's nice to see that you're still alive! We wouldn't get our nice Eugene art fix if you weren't!
