A very memorable scene from Star Ocean: Till the end of time. I can't draw people so, congrats Albel, you got to be a wolf for 5 minutes. A lot of people disliked Albel because he was a very rude, malicious, sadistic ego-maniac. However, once you got to see his back story, well, I at least favored him as a cool dude. At least his attitude improved a bit..... a bit....

I hate myself for the rebellious nature that prevents me from cooperating with others! I hate myself for the jealous nature that makes me envious of those superior to me! And.....I hate myself for the death of my father, brought by my own impotence!

Sword: This, then, is your answer?

Albel: Yes, I hate nothing more than myself!

Sword: You may take me in hand, warrior of strong heart. I shall bend to your will. Together, we shall destory all beings cleaved by my blade. And all that we slay shall be cast out from this world for all eternity!
