Description

[A scene where the night watch, Alexis, takes the Marionette to school with her for the day. She starts off every school day singing in the choir from 7am till 8 (which is when school actually starts for her) so that's the first place she takes him to.]

Alexis smiled in relief as she exited the stairway on the third floor to find that the hallway was empty and semi-lit. She'd always enjoyed the quietness of her school in the morning, when there were no other students milling about and chattering in the soon-to-be glaringly bright hallways. She sighed when she glanced at the clock to see that it read 6:45 A.M.; choir practice would start soon. It wasn't so much that she hated choir practice, more that it just seemed like she never had time to just relax and enjoy things anymore. And she was right. Her schedule consisted of:

1.) Leaving school at 3:25 pm (and getting most of her homework done during the study hall and lunch period that she had).

2.) Eating a hurried dinner at 4.

3.) Sleeping from 4:30 in the afternoon till 10:30. (Which gave her 6 hrs of sleep)

4.) Getting up and finishing whatever homework she had left

5.) Leaving for work at 11:45 and driving 10 minutes to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria

6.) Working the night shift from 12 till 6

7.) Leaving for her town house and resting for 30 minutes

8.) Finally driving 5 minutes to get to her high school in the center of downtown.

Senior year was supposedly one of the easiest years for students-but for her, it was probably the hardest she ever had. At least she could proudly state that she didn't suffer from senior-itis as so many of her classmates did.

She looked around once more to reassure herself that the hallway was empty before shifting her backpack upwards-simultaneously signaling that the coast was clear. She grinned as she immediately felt the weight in her backpack shift and the sound of a zipper being unzipped registered in her ears. She turned her head to look behind her as a pair of three long black fingers excitedly gripped her shoulders . "So this is your school?" The look of sheer joy on the Marionette's face made her smile grow even wider despite the fatigue that was plaguing her. "You better believe it, Marion." She cheerily whispered, not wishing to disturb the peaceful silence any more than she had to.

Sneaking Marion out of Freddy Fazbear's was fairly easy, considering all she had to do was have Marion disable the security camera in the prize room before entering the room herself and holding out her backpack for him to climb into it. (Which was made especially easy with no one around to tell her off.) The car ride home was also a breeze, with moderate traffic for the 10 minutes it took to get to her town house. Showing him around said house and welcoming him to stay with her had been fun and totally worth the 30 minutes of extra sleep she lost.  And now, with him here in her backpack at SCHOOL of all places, she had to say that she felt like today was going to be a good day.

Her attention was brought back to the present when she felt Marion lean in a little closer to her ear and whisper giddily, "Am I going to get to hear you sing with the other girls, soon?" His grin grew even wider as she nodded. "You betcha. You're gonna hear me and the rest of the high-school choir."

For a moment, Marion made to wrap her into a tight embrace, but then the soft patter of footsteps coming up the stairs alerted them both. Alexis quickly nodded at him to hide, to which Marion shot her an disappointed look before hurriedly settling himself back down in her backpack and zipping it up, leaving no trace of him ever being out. Alexis sighed discontentedly before turning on her heel to head down to the first floor where choir practice was held-not even bothering to look to see who had so rudely interrupted her and Marion's private moment. But as she descended down the steps, a small smile came to her face. She would most certainly be sure to place the backpack as closely as she could to her choir chair.
