Both of us are almost done with our Evil Yugioh GX costumes at this point to we thought we'd take a pic to show off our hard work thus far

What kind of fabric is costume made of?

the armor is vinyl, the trenchcoat is a thicker cotton (I think I found it in the suitings section of the fabric store...) with lining fabric on the inside, the grey trim around the trench is a thinner grey cotton, the gold trim is all satin, and the hand portion of the gloves are stretchy gloves that I bought (lol, I cheated XD. But I did have to sew them to the vinyl and add all that gold trim...which was very painful as I hand-sewed it on while the gloves were on my hands). I can't exactly remember what the outer part of the cape was (maybe a ponte knit?), and the inside lining of the cape is a thin red cotton.

HOLY...wow. I'm a novice at best when it comes to costume making so I can only imagine the amount of time and work you put into this. Anyway, thanks for replying, I was just curious because I like the way the armor reflects the light.

she's used all kinds of stuff on that monster. The armor is vinyl, with a gold fabric for the trimming. I wanna say her trenchcoat underneath is cotton, but it might not be, and it has a satin lining. The cloak is also a different fabric, might ask her for more specifics

oh btw, on car rides to afest, the only person I don't have room for now is Tim, the guy who came with us last year. I can fit the rest into my car, so would it be cool if he rides with you and Mary?

I have tried in the past to make a special duel disk, but I failed miserably. But awesome, awesome, work! I hope my Puppetmon and White Ranger cosplays are just as good!
