rjb, your points are somewhat vaild, but the shapless bright and dark blobs u refer too...well take another look.
from my eyes, i see a the image of a cross in its basic form. the blue accents this.
does anyone else see that? i dont think the composition was a too messy.
i think it looks pretty good, and if a 14 year old did this then keep it up. nice job.

I cannot believe that people even think this is a good piece of artwork. Itβs a godamm mess! Now come on seriously, take a look at the exact centre of this image what do you seen huh? SHAPELESS-BRIGHT-BLOBS. And what do you see in every far corner SHAPELESS-DARK-BLOBS how predictable can we get! Now listen Matthew here a is bit of constructive criticism that I hope you may consider:
With the cross like composition you have applied for this image your focal point almost immediately your goes to the centre. Try making the centre most point a bit more interesting than just what you have placed. When an artwork has a centre focal it can at times be overly predictable compositionally wise, itβs just the nature of the beast. So in future try making the centre part more interesting. And maybe for a change make the main focal area off to one side. Itβs more challenging to but discord compositions look far better due to the unpredictable nature it exemplifies.
Sorry about coming down hard on you, by all means you can point every imperfection in my work, I donβt mind but make sure you give a valid constructive reason of course.

congrats on the dd, great work... I think perhaps the hands are somewhat out of place, and the typo style, is just a bit overused (the whole words in numbers thing)..
but overall a nice piece.

Though, I notice nice effort & time spent on this piece, I somewhat feel it is missing something, while at the same time noticing that it is a little overdone if you look thoroughly. The style is of what most people favor, and I think that all it needs is, bluring, smudging, and use the pen tool a bit to erase instead of the regular airbrush eraser. When erasing with the airbrush eraser, from white to black, it just doesn't look as good. Good job on the DD, it sure is fun getting it, isnt it?

Splendid display of colors and talent with this piece. I really like the liquid feel to it. The trendy text is a bit much though, especially with the big "001" and those lines... if you got rid of those, this piece would be even more cool, but i'm not complaining, this piece rocks.
