Finally, I can show this idea.
I have so many ways to continue Kovu's story after the movie. All of them are tragic lol.
Kovu have depression since he has memory. The constant abuse of Zira makes a scared and broken lion. The appearance of Kiara in his life sends a bright of life on are that darkness. This is why he fell in love SO FAST.
But even with Kiara, he feels empty. Even he tried to suicide one moment but was saved by Kiara.
Going back to the story. Even if Kovu isn't Scar's son, he has a part of him (we see it in the movie when he sees Scar's reflection in the water). So, counting that Kovu is a weak soul, the soul of Scar finally takes possession of his body one night when no one is around for helping. Obviously, this wasn't something good. Kovu started to convulsions, losing blood from his eyes, mouth, and nose.
He tried to fight. He doesn't even know what it is, but he heard Scar's laugh on his head.
Kovu lost the fight.
