Yeah, my trainer says, that he, as an Arnis-master, would always try to get something to fight with, no matter what. Because that s the strength of that style. And if he knows, that the other one is good at ground-fights, he would try his best to not get knocked to the ground!

you mean arnis isn't meant for ground fighting either ? what has happened to martial arts ? most fights end up on the ground !!! so you're best bet is to try not to get knocked down and if you do , hurry back up right ?

Well, We take our opponents to the ground, but then, the fight is over, because there are no good ways on getting up again (especially when your enemy is pinning you down). We have some basic maneuvers on the ground, but nothing special.

hm , so it's kinda like karate . you take your opponent down and then the fight's over . but that's not how a real fight ends !!! you take your opponent to the ground , he'll bounce back up and will probably draw a weapon and you're in for it !!!!

Well, that s what I like about Arnis: You have a fair chance against pretty much everything. It focuses a lot on disarming and those pressure-point techniques. That techs are the main ones you use to keep your opponent on the ground.

you've sent me two vids about what arnis is like !!! and of course , if your opponent can't stand on his feet or can't use his arms , he's done for !!! that is , if he's not into tae kwon do !!! then he'll just laugh at you !!!!
