Loki has already begun his tyraid of jealousy of Thor. Loki had asked Shinku if she'd join him. She declined, wanting it just to be normal again, Loki wouldn't except that. Though he continued to care for her. She began to become depressed and said she hated him. Of course that wasn't true... she was devoted to him.
