The evil villain of the series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is Dio Brando, who can summon a guardian spirit called a "stand" (as many powerful fighters can. His stand is called The World ("ZA WARUDO"). When Dio summons it, it stops time for him. Then he can do many things, like throw more knives than would normally be possible!
