Description Days passed, before finally, the guard came to let J out.
The dark figure lumbered up to his cell, crouching down at the door. “Hmph.”  it grunted, before pulling out an odd shaped key.
J watched with anticipation, rolling his knuckles in his palm.
When the door was unlocked, J let out a whistle, alerting the dozing Robyn.
The guard let out another “hmph” at the whistle, but as he opened the door, Robyn let out another, higher pitched whistle.
“Ey!” she called hesitantly, still not believing if this would work or not.
The figure turned, dust rolling off it’s body. It gave a questioning grumble, kicking the door shut and looking her way.
J took this as a sign, kicking the iron bared door out again and open. He smiled maliciously, as the guard turned quickly to him once more. It pulled out what looked liked to be a cattle prod, electricity sparking from the two points.
From somewhere, a siab moaned in anguish, another one letting out a blood curling screech.
Robyn covered her ears, the shrieks and moans building up slowly at the simple sight of a cattle prod sounded anything but human.
J only smiled, “Oi... That’s spunk..” he murmured, chuckling lightly. The guard groaned, shoving the cattle prod out, which stuck against J’s stomach.
“That’s right...” J moaned, grinning. “Hurt me.” he whispered, gripping the cattle prod with a light jolt and pushing it away. The guard did some sort of noise, like a quick hiss.
The Aussie laughed, “It comes in handy being!” he paused, taking his time to run against the guard, pressing into it’s stomach.
“A masochist...” he whispered, and the guard dropped with a thump.
The man smiled down at the body, a brown substance leaking from a hole in it’s abdomen.
J held up a hand, a scalpel covered in god-knows-what in his hand.
“I five finger discounted this from the bloke. Poor no-hoper...” J said, walking over to Robyn, who was cowering in her cell.
“Oi, it’s right, Robyn..” he said low, crouching and snatching the key from a breast pocket on the guard and turning to her cell.
He shoved the key in the lock, turning it left, then right, and opening it with a click.
“Come on, love.” he cooed, like he hadn’t just killed someone and admitted to being a psychotic person who finds pleasure in being hurt...
Robyn swallowed, then slowly crawled from her cell, J grabbed her hand and hauled her to her feet.
“We need to hurry...” he said, his gaze on the dead guard. A siab moaned quietly, snatching the two’s attention.
“Oh... Sheila... We can’t take you, love.” he whispered, coming up to the cell.
The siab groaned, but tilted it’s head attentively to the side as J hummed silently.
“I know a place of fantasy, a beautiful, new world...”
“Where the sun and the moon and the stars dance, with fortune and luck, oh, beautiful chance...”
“But the sun stopped shining, the moon has fell. All the young stars are burning in hell...” J smiled sweetly, singing to the beast.
“The fantasy is so corrupted, and only nightmares reign. This fantasy remains no more... It’s been replaced with a beautiful thing: Blood, malice and gore.”
The siab shook the bars with a groan.
“Take that song to your grave, love.” he murmured to the siab, smiling.
“Alright, let’s go.” he called to Robyn, after parting with the monster with a few whispers and goodbyes.
The two navigated their ways through the darkness, walking blindly. Footsteps and moans wound interrupt them every once in a while, but it was otherwise silent and empty.
Robyn would catch sight of disoriented and rotting siabs, but J would just smile at them and wave.
“They’re so gorgeous.. Aren’t they, love?” he would ask every hour it seemed, glancing back at Robyn.
Of course, she never said anything. Just stayed silent and close to J, in fear that the darkness it’s self might drag her away.
They walked for what seemed like hours in total darkness, the occasional tiny hole in the ceiling lighting their way.
Finally, J stopped abruptly, staring ahead. Robyn peeked from around the Aussie, and gasped.
A metal door.
