Description A shiver ran down Brett's spine. "So, I was just another victim." he said shakily, placing the controller on the floor in front of him. "W-well, yes, but, you must understand." Druid began, standing along with Brett. "I saw something different in you. I-I had visions of you before you came to the mausoleum. I knew I had to make you a Follower." Druid said, sighing deeply as Brett walked out of the living room and towards the kitchen. "Brett, please! That's not how it is anymore!" Druid called, walking after him. "Still. This is all so weird..." Brett murmured, leaning against the counter with his head in his hands. "I know... I'm sorry." Druid said, leaning beside him. "I mean... Just a few days ago. I was leading a normal life, as a normal kid. I mean, I had things going for me!" Brett cried, his voice shaky again as his emotions sky rocketed as new truths came out. "I'll never be normal again..." Brett murmured, as Druid saw tears start to well in his eyes. "Oh, Brett, don't cry, please..." Druid sighed, gripping his shoulder. "Please! Just stop... touching me..." Brett flashed a look at Druid. "O-oh, sorry..." Druid murmured, leaning against the granite counter. "Guys? Are you okay?" Brett's stepmother entered, looking at the troubled boys. "Fine, Mrs. Pierce." Druid said, nudging Brett lightly. They both gave a light smile. Druid grabbed Brett's shirt sleeve, pulling him upstairs. They both went into Brett's room, as Druid sat back in the chair to talk. "Look, Brett..." his face reddened, a quick, deep sigh coming from him. "I'm sorry I r-ruined your life!" Druid hissed, groaning with frustration as he jumped up and opened the window to leave. He hesitated, as if waiting for Brett to stop him. But he didn't, he just watched him go with a sad expression. Druid looked down, his eyes shut tightly in hurt as he leaped out of the window and ran towards the cemetery, ignoring his burning skin in the over exposed sunlight. Brett walked over to the window slowly, peering out of it to watch the silver haired boy disappear. Tears fell from his eyes, regretting ever saying anything about it. "I'm so sorry..." he whispered half to himself, hoping that Druid heard it through telepathy. Druid pried open the stone door angrily, throwing himself down on the cold stone, laying down. "Problems?" Thane said, and Druid quickly sat up. Thane smiled, sitting in the back of the large mausoleum. "Yes..." Druid whispered, laying back down slowly. "What happened to best friends? What's happened?" Thane asked, walking up quietly and sitting beside Druid's form, his knees drawn up to his chest. "Nothing... Apparently I ruined his life by making him a vampire." Druid murmured, hiding his face. "Well, they all think that at the start. But it's only been a week, calm down. He should be fine in two, three weeks time. Just give him some space, you know?" Thane offered, smiling sincerely. "Since when did you give real advice..." Druid hissed glanced over. "Since you needed it." Thane replied, chuckling quietly. Druid sighed shakily, "Well, I suppose you're right..." he murmured. "He's my best friend... No offense to you" Druid said, chuckling lightly. "Well, it's nice to see you laughing, at least." Thane murmured, as the two laughed loudly. "Well, maybe he'll come see you. I mean he has to, right? You do feed him." Thane said, looking at the stone door out at the dangerous sun. Druid smirked, "I suppose." he smiled. "Yes." Thane said, "just wait for him to come crawling back... then I'll taste his sweet, rare blood." Thane laughed, seeing Druid's expression immediately turn protective and serious. "I'm just kidding! Jeez, you really like this kid." Thane smirked. "Yea well, I kinda have too. He abandoned his other ones for me. Besides, he's awesome. These are his clothes he loaned me, he tells me about the world now a days, does a lot of things for me. Best buds." Druid said, a smile creeping across his face. Suddenly, heavy footsteps and breathing could be heard. "Druid!"
