It costs four hundred thousand dollars to fire this weapon...for twelve seconds."Super mega obvious reference going on here. I love stormers helmet, I really wish it was available in other colors then just plain white. It also has a striking resembelance to the Robot Heavy from TF2 MvM, which was clearly the inspiration for this. This photo turned out rather dark, partly because of the amount of white, though it could've been worse. This model probably has more then 20x times the amount of parts then the actual set, the only thing that's actually left from the set itself is the huge breastplate connected to the extra long torso base, the rest is a complete-revamp.

May I ask which sets you used for the gun itself? Might see if I can find those sets for cheap and remake the gun itself.
Also, was the lighting done on purpos to make it look like it has the Emerald sheen killstreak kit applied to it?

The light was purely for making the photograph look good and only that, my lego collection is imgur.com/a/PCKSB big enough for me to not remember where I even got most parts, the only thing i can help you with is the white cylinder is from an old star wars set, the rest is really random parts from various boxes and such.

That is one impressive piece of machinery.
Detail of the gun is superb, a fine weapon to be handled, and certainly better than what Stormer xl had for the official set.
Stormer is far better as well.
I wonder, how do you get the background to look that way? I've been experimenting with my own pics, but none turn out as well as this.

This is my current setup: [link] not too fancy really, but it doesn't really take much to have a decent setup for taking photos. During spring and summer, I get really great natural light through my window, that's when I take pictures. The thing about light is unless you have something to tone it down you get this yellow-ish tint on your photos and it doesn't look as good.
Basically I can only take good pictures when during the sunny months of the year, I get this completely neutral light which makes the grey background look grey and all colors really look the way they do in real life.
I've been on a hiatus for quite a long while now because of this, but I'll have some photos coming up soon as I've gotten my hands on the Brain Attack sets by now, expect some more frequent activity from me soon!
