I don't know WHY I colored this. It's really old, so some of the clothing designs (Jake's jacket, Mattie's shirt) not to mention Matt's lack of stump (Though that's confusing, how much of his body he has depends on how much he accepts that the lands he no longer has aren't his... so this might be right after he lost them. Again, confusing) aren't canon. I also decided to try and go back to how the clothes were originally meant to be....On the left we have a little gag centering around how Matt manages to stay balanced in action... he adds weight in his empty sleeve! He just so happens to use guns! It's a silly joke, really.
On the right... the Confederacy being Con. Yes, he laughs at things that would strike Mattie and Jake as Dead Baby jokes (At least, when it deals with those two). Jack tends to find the fact that Mattie is missing limbs hysterical. And Union is drinking Coca-Cola.

It's QUEBEC. You're Quebecois (even if you're anglo too)you should know Quebec's rep in the rest of the country: BADASS/scary.

That being said, He's a rather toned-down version of that rep XD. He might have once carried those guns, but he never really planned on using them unless needed.
And he prefers knives and forks, generally (Just because he's bound to have/get on EVENTUALLY no matter the situation, even if it's a butter knife.)
