"But Mx. ForFun, what is this?? Wasn't the colorwheel a trend for fanarts? I don't recognize any of these characters!"
"Well my name wouldn't be "Fail" if I didn't butcher the idea behind it by making it with my own characters, would it?"
"Wait, aren't you participating in ArtFight? Did you do this instead of drawing attacks?"
"... Look man-"

Felt like doing this for a while during Pride Month without ever getting around to it and it's only days ago that I came up with some interesting poses and made up my mind on who appeared where. Would have posted it sooner if it weren't for the storm that hit town but don't worry about it. Also I wanted to make sure I still could traditionally ink : I can, I don't like it much so I had to correct and add a few bolder lines here and there. I guess I could re-do it but it's basically done, live and learn, hanging on the edge of tomorrow, you get me.
At first I thought of making it with mostly the sapphic couples, then with different OCs of various queer identities, then considered making gift-arts of my mutuals' OCs instead... whelp, didn't.
Instead, each OC's shown to be from different projects (otherwise I could've easily filled the wheel with solely Avenue Refrain's characters), whether the projects in question are serious, a side-project, a relic from the past I plan to rework later or something just done for fun (like fancomics and such).
Anyway I tend to color-code my projects anyway so this fits.
Placed a few characters based of their parallels with eachothers even if said parallels I really had to dig hard to figure them out. Had to overthink it otherwise it wasn't gonna be really fun, I guess. What those parallels are, however, I'll leave you the fun to guess.
Also when I say "old OC", consider that they come from my secondary school years. So only three of these characters are fairly recent, really.

In order, we have :

RED : Sascha/Eustace [old OC]
ORANGE : Beth [old OC]
YELLOW : Leslie [old OC repurposed]
GREEN : Sawyer [Fallout Fancharacter/Lone Wanderer]
CYAN/TEAL : Zeke/Fitz [old OC repurposed]
BLUE : Roxy [she's everywhere in my gallery but indeed she's fairly recent]
PURPLE : Ninel [Stardew Valley Fancharacter/Farmer]
PINK : Isidora [old OC with slight redesign]

I really considered to go at lenght about each character's stories but that would make for a big description box so maybe later.
You can sort of get a grasp on some of the characters personalities through the drawing I think. Anyway, I'll have plenty of time to go at lenght about them in future deviations.
