A little follow up of "I guess it wasn't meant to be.........."

After walking into the cold, Fiona notices a familiar figure and she, right away who it was. Miles 'tails' Prowler. She thought about walking towards but she didn't bother going anywhere near, so she kept walking into the snow while tears came down onto her face and when the snow went into her high heels. She closes her eyes and walks along as the wind whistles and carries snow dust, making a swirl of snow that surround Fiona. Out of the blue, Fiona heard a familiar and it was no one but Tails.

Tails was shocked to see Fiona out in the cold and notices that she doesn't have anything to keep her warm. Tails had a dark blue scarf around his neck and he approached Fiona with it to give her some warmth.

Fiona: Tails, please. I don't deserve this. Nobody even likes me. I'm all alone and I've found out that Scourge doesn't like me anymore. He was falling for some other girl and that's why I'm out here. I'd rather freeze to death instead of be neglected.

She explained to Tails as her tears started to freeze on her face. Little does she know is that Tails has always cared for her despite that he's too young for her but for a little yellow, two-tailed fox, he has a big heart and to him, it didn't matter if Fiona was on the wrong side or not, he'll care for her until the bitter end.......even it's a bitter cold end like the night was around them. The moonlight started to shine where Fiona and Tails where standing and as Fiona buried her face in her hands, Tails stood beside her and wrapped his scarf around her and wrapped his arms around her.

Tails: Fiona.........I don't care if you think you deserve to die....alone. You don't deserve to be in the amount of pain that you're in, both emotionally, mentally, and physically. The number of times that it was just you and me when you were with the jerk, Scourge, I kept thinking that you eventually kill me and just when I thought you were going to do it......you never did. With the amount of times that had happened, I knew that you were still good. You just didn't wanted to show it because you were afraid of Scourge would hurt you. You don't have to worry about him if he's into someone else. You don't deserve to die alone. I'll always care for you even we freeze to death tonight.

Fiona buries her head on his chest and lowers both herself and Tails down onto the snowy ground and wraps her arms around Tails to hold onto him not only for warmth, but for comfort. In her dire situation, she slowed down on her crying and as she slows down, she felt a something................something familiar. It was a warm, fuzzy comfort that she hadn't felt since she was an infant back when she had her family. She remembers on nights like tonight, her mother would always hold her into her arms and give her a very warm comfort. Even though she's older now, she never forgot what that warm feeling was like. Of course, this was only a young, eleven year old boy who only wanted to help her so badly because not only does he feel sorry for her, but how much he truly cares for her. Fiona still had her head buried on Tails' chest but she stopped crying and Tails' chest was covered with her tears.

Fiona: Tails..................I don't care if I die tonight but what I really do care is that you're here in my dire need and for that, I'm really glad that you came to me. The night so beautiful and so are you. I forgot how cute you really are and you're only a small child but what I really like about you is that you have a big heart.

Tails continued to hold Fiona in his arms but as the wind grew stronger, the wind nearly blew the scarf away from them but Tails held onto it as much as he could to keep her and himself warm.

Tails: Fiona, if you really want to survive the night, we have to leave and find someplace warm.

Tails grabbed Fiona and as the both begin to stand up, the wind created a snowy vortex, surrounding both Fiona and Tails as the moon shined down on the two foxes. The both looked up and watched the snow around them. Despite how cold it was, the sight was amazing and beautiful and they both gazed at snow swirling around them. Just as the snow continued to surround, they faced each other once again and held each other. Making face to face each other, they knew that this night meant something............something very special. They didn't say anything but they knew what tonight meant. The night meant that they supposed to meet each other again.

Fiona: Tails........I would like to come home.

Tails knew what she meant by that. They held each other, side by side, and walked together to a place called...............home.
