Your picture has good balance, the line of sight flows nicely, and the colors are dim with out being muddy, except around Lara where the backlight is used to draw your eye. It is also a great moment of action in that she's already released the arrow and is already starting to reach for another that she had been prepared to use. I think few others will have this in the contest.
On a seperate note, I enjoyed the words in your description. A poem the works well with the image, but is powerful enough to stand on its own.
