colored version: [link]Two of my favorite things; Birds of Prey and Deadpool.
and I were geeking out over Deadpool and how much I lurved him when I realized I have ABSOLUTLEY NO DEADPOOL ARTWORK.
I fail as a person. Anyways, I thought I’d combine the awesometastic Birds of Prey with the awesomesexay Deadpool into one pic of awesomeness. hopefully it worked.
I was gonna call this ‘threesome’ but I decided that was too suggestive for some of you people’s virgin ears.So basically this is me being symbolic and wishing I was Black Canary/Huntress in this pic. Cause deadpool’s a sexay pimp.
I tried adding that black border in photoshop just as an experiment…trying to make it pop more. Tell me if ya’ll like it or not.
Also inspired by Ed Benes stuff cause I absolutely adore that man’s artwork. He was my main inspiration to start drawing comic-book style.
Minor detail, forgot to add black Canary’s glove. I tried doing less shiny stuff (besides huntress’s hair) because I realize that sometimes that stuff gets distracting. God, this took FOREVER though. My tush hurts from sitting.
If you’re wondering where Oracle is, she’s too smart to fall for someone like Deadpool.
AND HOLY CRAP, IS GETTING ME A DEADPOOL T-SHIRT!!!!!! So go show him some lurv.

A pimp he sure is...any Marvel character who can step on the streets of a DC property and snag two of the hottest chicks from Birds Of Prey (no pun intended) defintely deserves props. I sure Cable is extremely jealous

Any red-blooded male in his right mind would have that exact reaction to Black Canary and Huntress hanging off of him (although I don't really like Huntress too much; I can still admit she's an attractive woman, speaking as a straight female). I keep meaning to see if I can find anything with Deadpool in it. I love the fact that he's a self-aware comic character.
The shading is beautiful! And I love Huntress's hair and the gleams you put in it, along with...Deadpool. And his outfit. And his...excitement.

Hehe, yeah, I thought this was a pretty accurate interpretation of any dude's fantasy. For me, it would be myself in the middle with Deadpool and Steven Strait (an actor). BUT considering the comic book world is dominated by males, this will probably be a lot more popular. Besdies, i love drawing these characters.
i know, I'm not that fond of Huntress either, but i really don't understand why most people in the DC world hate her that much. True, her methods are different, and she's a bit of a skank, but she's just trying to do what's best.
I think i have a bias because I saw the JLU version of Huntress and love how they portrayed her.
Haha, you should get 'Cable and Deadpool'. The older collections are hilarious and really well done.

Oh goodness, it's the JLU version of Huntress that miffs me the most. I saw Double Date just last night, and I seriously didn't like her character. I love the fact that Gail Simone wrote the episode, and the dialogue was beautiful, but I just didn't really like Helena that much. Maybe it's because I already had dislike for her. It didn't help either that The Question, Mr. Paranoid And Conspiracy Theorist over here, helps her and falls for her in one episode. I can buy that he's probably had his eye on her for a while, and that yes, he would help someone out, even that he'd like a gal -- but not without putting bugs, taps, and cameras all over her oblivious self.

haha, thanks all right, your perfectly entitled to your opinion. i can see what you mean though... and I definitley see how huntress can be annoying (when i first read about her i didn't like her). I don't know, maybe it's that type of thing that grows on you... yet i don't think she can grow on you any more.

Thanks, and I do respect the fact that there are a lot of people who like her. Like you. I know she's not your favourite, but you seem to like her well enough, so yes. And I do dislike her for sleeping with Nightwing, then telling Barbara off for being a 'mean, suspicious person' toward her, and then expecting Dick and Babs not to care that she threw herself in the middle between them. Kind of...hypocritical.

i think the only reason i like her is because I think she's sort of like me... she thinks she's this big badgirl that can fight tough guys and all that... but she's really out of her league and has no idea what she's doing. and she's trying to prove to people that she can live up to expectations, but it ends up falling flat most of the time. But sleeping around... that's a nono.

funny that you mentioned Cable... i've started up about 5 pics of Cable and Deadpool (love that series by the way) but I've never finished them. I had a cable/Domino/deadpool sketch somewhere... maybe I'll finish it and put it up soon.
