Been a while, and I wanted to draw for another challenge to show off cats from my TLK universe. So uh- yeah here they are:

Ndogo: I decided out of my handful of Scar children I would draw the last one that needed an updated design. The first and last time I drew Ndogo, he was still a concept and was mothered by a different lioness. But now he's also Sarabi's child, being born as a spiteful attempt by Scar to piss off his brother's ghost. The true firstborn of the dark king, he had a rough growing up, hinting often that he would become just as cold and cruel as his father. He ultimately showed his sympathetic side when he helped Mheetu and many of their peers escape the Pridelands. He planned to return and properly challenge Scar, but when he came back, Simba had already done so and taken the throne. Ndogo uncomfortably tried to tolerate this for a while, but he and his half-brother kept butting heads on situations, and his attitude certainly didn't help either. Eventually Simba asks him to quietly leave and to stay with one of their friends in the nearby lands.

Za: Not too much to say about good ol Za. She's charismatic, wild; a wanderlusting rogue who's seen alot of sights and experienced much. Her sad peak in life was falling in love with a Pridelands Queen, and the entire situation ending tragically because of misunderstands. Her direct bloodline will lead to Imara and Tazama.

Runako: MY SWEET BABY BOY, MY LOVE~ God Runako has been a part of my verse for a while, I've just never drawn or spoken of him. He may look grumbly and scary, but he's actually a giant adorable puppy. Runy is part of my next gen, and like many others, his origins are shrouded in alot of tragedy and scandal, but he does have a loving bunch of lions who raise him, even if none of them are his birth parents.

Zuberi: Ah my sweet Zuberi, it's been forever since I've drawn her, but she's always been a favorite in my universe. She's high energy, confident, and strong in her convictions and diplomacy. She and Mohatu were betrothed as children, and they did NOT get along. Mohatu was bratty, Zuberi was stubborn, and they clashed often. It's only by sheer luck and many high risk experiences they ended up bonding and eventually becoming a great team when they married. Despite their opposing personalities, she has a great relationship with her son Ahadi.

Laya: Never drawn her, made up her design on the spot and gave her the same colors as her brother. Laya is the twin to Hanif, Nala's father. They were orphaned rogue cubs who were chased by hyenas when wandering in the Pridelands. Hanif ended up stuck in the tree, and Laya had to look for help, forcing herself to be brave and approach a group of strange big lions, who happened to be the guard. As adults, Hanif would give in to his wandering genes, while Laya would be content as a powerful huntress, even being one of Nala's best teachers. She would struggle alot in Scar's reign as the king couldn't stand how much she resembled her brother.

Mwanzo: A.k.a, Tanglemane. There's alot that could be said about this boy, but to sum up, he's just a good dude that always got the short end of the stick, even since before he was born. He deserved way more, but always thought he had things decent. He is directly part of the Pridelands royalty, but knowledge of that and Mwanzo himself have been lost for years. The last decent thing after meeting cub Simba is that after years of struggle, he is taken in by a kindly pride who allow him to rest as an elder until he passes from age.
