I did these images for a reason. Even though it will never go anywhere, I have always noticed (being Jewish) that in just about every kids bible no one ever illustrates the old testament as it should be. They draw the images of Moses, David, Jacob and so forth as christian base characters. Never as they really were, Jews. I made a comment one day on a post about why don't people draw them as they were and said maybe because no one wants Jews in their history. That they didn't want to teach their kids about us. Needless to say that didn't pan out as I hoped. Most people agreed. Sad... However, It got me thinking. Why not just illustrate it myself. If you have ever read the Bible. Me being old, I've read it a few times in Hebrew and Greek. But in children's books no one draws it correctly. They were Jewish, Law following, Torah keeping, Prayer Shawl wearing, God fearing people. But kids don't get to see that and never really know that these people made a serious impact on the world and history. They read the children's books never getting to see this side of God's religious people and knowing who they are, or what they did. But, any way. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
