well i kinda sorta have a hatred for anything related to ff7, but i love all the other gmes though 7 is just an exception.

yeah basically both, you see when i was very young i had ff8 as my first ff game, and i loved the game to death and even had my first crush on squall lol X3
but one day out with my family i entered a game store that was showing a trailer of ff9 which hadn't come out yet, and there was so much critcism from all thesedamn fans saying the game sucked before it even came out, and how ff9 was too kiddy compared to 7 and that ignorant crap, i spoke up and basically said ff8 is bettee then 7 then i was barraged with insultsand, nothing but hate for ff8 and 9 and only love for ff7, that was a very horrible experience, and so thats when i grew to hate ff7, and hate only grew more when i kept seeing everything related to ff7 Β i mean come on it got a crap ton of spin offs and a damn movie while ff8 and ff9 get absoulutely nothing no spins offs or a movie on ff8 and 9 just favoritism with 7.
thats why i hate ff7 and it's characters and everything about it.

Personally , I love all FF series equally, be it the old or the new ones.
I played most of them too during my entire life.
But I do realize those fans who can't move on from ff7Β and
kept saying it is the best ff ever,Β which made me feel angry but sad too.
I admit ff7 is good but that doesn't mean the others are not, right?
And from what I read about your experience there, I can see that the main problem comes from ff7 fans..
So what I hope is, you should give ff7 a chance and accept it. hehe
You can hate all their fans as much as you want, but please not the game. XD

i will never play ff7 again, i acce[pted that when i smashed all 4 disc's when i got back that day.
i'll play every single one even bad ones like mystic quest, but i refuse to play 7, i'll always hate it and the characters, especally cloud and tifa.
