Description
Oh my love, my gull at sea,How far have you gone from here?
I am cold once more, as winter comes,
And I sip your favorite tea.
My thoughts of you, warmth and smiles,
Bid me chance to whisper,
To open my eyes and pray you'll hear,
Your name o'er the miles.
I have not lost the gifts you gave,
Courage, pride, and grace.
They linger here, on desks and chairs,
Memories I aim to save.
Now in my age and graying hair,
It's only a matter of time.
Soon my dear, we'll meet again,
Atop of heaven's golden stairs.

Ahh a great poem about those times where you sit in your summer abroad class and think about the good ol' USA!
