Certain plants require pollination in order to grow, this plant right here has anther’s present which are fertile and ready to be carried away by a small bird or honey bee; known as pollinator’s. Without pollinators the seeds simply fall to the ground and freeze or dry out. In synthetic gardens one can take a q-tip and dust some pollen on it to bring the anthers to another area or collect their seeds for later.
