When considering fabrics for zelda i had it in my mind to make it less cartoony and more realistic & period. The dress had to be off white. I was considering wedding satin but that doesn't have a "Saxon" look to it, so I settled on a thick linen. I really wanted to keep all the fabrics looking natural. The over shirt is made of dupioni silk. Zelda is a princess so naturally she would be able for afford rich fabric for her gowns. Its fun to me to find elements that are true to the character, it brings them to life! This is great! It really reminds me of the storyline in so many ways. Even the lighting that you used in the photo reminds me of the N64 Ocarina of Time game - because he'd come through the burning castle, which was dark, but it was light on top, just like in this picture! I really adore your costumes, keep it up!

Yeah, I see that in her other pictures...Its really cool and a little scary that she looks like Link. ^__^ I went to this big Halloween party like 2 years back and my husband made me a Zelda costume and I made the armor, it only took like a month..its a really cool outfit....I need to go dig up those pictures...they are in my closet somewheres.
